The Jade Voyager Yoga Mat is great for yogis on the go and for those who like closer contact with the ground. Don’t look for the Voyager for cushion, but it is the best choice if you have a limited amount of storage space or will be using it over another mat. Effects will be minimized by keeping your mat rolled when not traveling. The Voyager is 24″ wide and 68″ long, weights just over 1.5 pounds and comes in a variety of colors.
Jade is everything you want in a yoga mat – cool colors, incredible grip, great comfort and eco-friendly. Jade mats are made sustainably with natural rubber tapped from rubber trees, a renewable resource. Unlike other mats contains no PVC, EVA or other synthetic rubber. They are made in the United States in compliance with all US environmental, labor and consumer protection laws. And, Jade plants a tree for every mat sold – with over 850,000 trees planted so far.
Please note that the reinforcing scrim (which is hidden inside our other mats) is visible on the bottom of the Jade Voyager Yoga Mat
JADE HOLDS
As Jade is made with open cell, natural rubber, you can say goodbye to slipping on your practice mat. Even if it gets wet with perspiration it doesn’t get slippery. Natural rubber has long been used where safety demands non-slip performance. Jade takes advantage of the non-slip properties of natural rubber- resulting in the best slip-resistance on the market.

Hang it or lay it flat to dry, but keep it out of direct or prolonged sunlight. Trees for the Future
Our flagship partner, Trees for the Future is dedicated to planting trees with rural communities in the developing world. This enables them to restore their environment, grow more food, and build a sustainable future. Trees for the Future has tree-planting efforts in Burundi, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Mali, Senegal, Tanzania, and Uganda. They have helped plant trees in an incredible range of environments. For example, coastal areas, mountains and restoring soil that had been unproductive for decades or even hundreds of years.
On the islands of the Pacific, the combination of high tides and heavy rains brings great danger to the people of the coastal plains. Trees for the future is working with local groups in Indonesia and the Philippines to restore tree cover to upland areas. In this way, the land can absorb more water during storms and reduce the likelihood of flooding and mudslides. Other projects in India aim to restore trees to both drought-stricken and flood-ridden sections. Also Trees for the Future is planting trees in Haiti, Brazil, Honduras, and Nicaragua. For example, in 2011, Trees for the Future’s Haiti Program delivered three critical services – tree planting, agroforestry training, and technical assistance – to local farmers in three regions of the country: the Arcadine Coast, Chaine des Chaos, and Gonaives. In Honduras, Trees for the Future planted more than a million trees in conjunction with one of our local partners.
In conclusion, Jade works with Trees for the Future by providing funding for these projects, planting one tree for every mat sold. The more mats sold, the more trees there will be for the future.
